What countries are available for shipping?
We offer international shipping to customers in the USA, Singapore, Sweden, Australia, the UK, Eurozone countries, New Zealand, and Canada (updated 2/2/2023).
TOYO STEEL is a traditional toolbox manufacturer founded in Japan in 1969. All products purchased from us are shipped directly from our manufacturing facility in Osaka, Japan. By selling directly from the manufacturer, we ensure both quality and security.
How much does international shipping cost?
Shipping fees are calculated based on volumetric weight (the amount of space the package occupies relative to its actual weight).
We offer free shipping for orders over the following amounts:
USA: $65 USD
Canada: $70 CAD
Australia: $120 AUD
New Zealand: $130 NZD
United Kingdom: £65 GBP
Hong Kong: $500 HKD
Taiwan: $2,000 TWD
Singapore: $90 SGD
Sweden: 850 SEK
UAE: 250 AED
Eurozone countries: €75 EUR
For all other countries, free shipping is not available. However, the unit price per item is set lower to compensate for the shipping cost.
I can't use a coupon.
Due to system limitations, we cannot apply coupons after an order has been confirmed. Please be aware of this in advance.
In principle, you must register as a member to use coupons. If you are unable to apply a coupon, please make sure your information is registered correctly by following the steps below.

Can I purchase TOYO STEEL products from external websites like Amazon or eBay?
TOYO STEEL Co., Ltd. sells its products only through our official store and authorized dealers. Only purchases made through these channels are eligible for TOYO STEEL’s warranty.
Please be aware that not all sellers advertising TOYO STEEL products are authorized. Unauthorized sellers may offer counterfeit, used, or damaged items—or may not even have TOYO STEEL products in stock. If you purchase from an unauthorized seller, you may face difficulties with after-sales support. Additionally, we cannot assist with returns or exchanges for products bought outside our official store or authorized dealers.

Please note that unauthorized sellers may appear on marketplace platforms such as Amazon and eBay. In particular, Amazon.com is not an authorized dealer of TOYO STEEL products. If you find a product listed at a significantly lower price than those at our official store or authorized dealers, it is highly likely that the seller is unauthorized.
Can I receive my order at a P.O. Box?
We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes because our products are too large to fit in them.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are shipped via FedEx, DHL, or EMS, depending on the most suitable carrier for your location.
Please note that order processing and shipping do not take place on Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, Golden Week, or Obon holidays. In general, orders are shipped the next business day or the following business day after purchase.
Delivery times vary by destination, but most orders arrive within 3 to 6 days after shipping.
All shipments include a tracking number, allowing you to track your package at any time.
I would like to know about payment of customs duties and taxes.
Shipping abroad may be subject to tariffs.
💡 April 22, 2025 — U.S. only: Although imports valued under $800 are normally exempt under the de minimis rule, steel products remain subject to a 25 % tariff under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act.💡 We are temporarily suspending our tax payment agent service for international customers outside the United States. As a result, you may be required to make unexpected payments upon receipt (as of 7/25/2024).
💡 For shipments to Europe, in addition to customs duties, a value-added tax (VAT) may be charged. This tax is typically around 20% of the product price (as of 3/6/2025).
Customs duties and related fees are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that we are not responsible for customs procedures.
By placing an order, you agree to pay any applicable customs duties, taxes, and related fees required by your country’s regulations.
If an item is returned to us due to refused receipt or prolonged absence, we will issue a refund after deducting return shipping fees, administrative fees, and other applicable shipping costs. Since our products are large, the actual shipping cost is high relative to the product price. Please understand that after deducting these costs, the remaining refund amount may be minimal or nonexistent.
Can I specify the delivery date and time?
For Overseas Customers: Delivery dates cannot be specified for international shipments.
For Japanese Customers: If the item is in stock, you can request a specific delivery date starting from the third business day after placing your order. Please enter your preferred date in the remarks column at checkout.
Changes to the specified delivery date are possible, but if the date is approaching, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

We accept the following payment methods:

How can I search for a product?
You can use the search bar on our website to find products by entering keywords.
How can I check if my personal items will fit?
The inner dimensions of each product are listed on the product details page. Please check these measurements before purchasing.
Even if you contact us, we may not be able to confirm whether a specific item will fit inside, especially if we do not have the exact item for reference.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Once an order is completed, we cannot cancel or modify it (e.g., adding or changing items). Please review your order carefully before finalizing your purchase.
However, we allow cancellations within 30 minutes of placing the order, provided it has not yet shipped.
In the case of an unavoidable cancellation, we will deduct 3% from the total payment and refund the remaining amount.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellations may not be possible, depending on when you contact us.
Can I return or exchange an item?
We accept returns within 7 days of receiving your order.
If you do not contact us within 7 days of delivery, we cannot issue a refund or exchange, regardless of the reason.
Returned items must be unused and in their original condition.
🚫 Returns and exchanges due to color differences between the product photo and the actual item are not accepted (except in cases where the wrong item was delivered).

I did not receive an email even though I ordered.
If you did not receive an email after placing an order, consider the following possibilities:
Your order may not have been completed successfully.
Your email address may have been entered incorrectly.
The email may have been sent to your junk/spam folder due to your email settings.

If you use a domain-based email filter, emails from our site may not be delivered. Please whitelist the domain "@toyosteel.jp" in your email settings.

Do you sell your items in physical stores?
For Overseas Customers:
We have retail stores in some countries. Please contact us, and we will introduce you to a distributor who can provide store information. (Note: In some countries, distributor information may not be available.)
However, the number of products available in physical stores is limited, so we recommend purchasing from our website.
For Customers in Japan:
Our toolboxes are available at TOOLS, an art supply store, at the following locations:
