TOYO STEEL 57th Anniversary Photo & Movie Campaign – Terms & Conditions

Before entering the “TOYO STEEL 57th Anniversary & Guinness World Records™ Recognition Celebration Photo & Movie Campaign” (the “Campaign”) organized by TOYO STEEL CO., LTD. (“TOYO STEEL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), please carefully review these Terms and Conditions.

By submitting an entry to the Campaign, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Campaign Overview

This Campaign invites participants to post a photo or video featuring a TOYO STEEL product on Instagram and submit the required entry form.

Seven entries will be selected through a judging process to receive a commemorative umbrella, and 30 participants will be selected at random to receive a TOYO STEEL novelty sticker set.

2. Entry Period

August 17, 2026 – September 13, 2026

* All dates and deadlines are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
* The entry period may be changed due to unavoidable circumstances.

3. How to Enter

Follow the official TOYO STEEL Instagram account, “@toyosteel.”
Post a photo or video featuring a TOYO STEEL product from your own Instagram account, using both hashtags “#toyosteel” and “#toyosteel57th.”
Complete and submit the Campaign entry form after agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the use of submitted content, and the handling of personal information.

Eligible entries must have been posted on Instagram on or after August 1, 2025. Photos and videos posted before the Campaign begins are also eligible, provided they meet all other entry requirements.

You may submit multiple entries. However, a separate entry form must be submitted for each individual photo or video.

4. Eligibility Requirements

Participants must meet all of the following requirements:

You agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You have an Instagram account.
You follow the official TOYO STEEL Instagram account, “@toyosteel.”
Your submitted photo or video features a TOYO STEEL product.
You created the submitted content yourself, or otherwise hold all rights necessary to submit and authorize the use of the content.
Your Instagram post includes both designated hashtags: “#toyosteel” and “#toyosteel57th.”
You keep your post visible and accessible to TOYO STEEL throughout the entry period and until the results are announced.
If selected as a winner, you are able to provide the information required for prize delivery.

Entries may be disqualified from judging or the prize draw if the Instagram account is private, the post has been deleted, the required hashtags are missing, or TOYO STEEL is otherwise unable to review the entry.

No purchase or entry fee payable to TOYO STEEL is required to participate in the Campaign. Any internet connection, data, Instagram usage, or other communication costs incurred in connection with participation are the responsibility of the participant.

5. Judging, Prize Draw, and Prizes

(1) Judged Winners: 7 Participants

Seven entries will be selected by TOYO STEEL based on factors including the overall appeal of the photo or video, how naturally the qualities and appeal of TOYO STEEL products are communicated, and whether the participant’s unique use, enjoyment, or story is expressed.

Prize: TOYO STEEL commemorative umbrella featuring the TOYO STEEL logo

* This prize is a non-sale commemorative item originally created for TOYO STEEL employees.
* The umbrella color is navy.
* Prize specifications may be changed without prior notice.

(2) Random Prize Draw: 30 Participants

Thirty participants will be selected at random to receive a TOYO STEEL novelty sticker set.

* Sticker designs and contents cannot be selected.
* The sticker designs delivered may differ from those shown in promotional images.
* Even if the same participant submits multiple entries, each participant may generally receive no more than one prize through the random draw.

We are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding the judging process, prize draw process, or results.

6. Results and Winner Notification

Winners are expected to be contacted around mid-October 2026.

TOYO STEEL will contact winners using the email address provided in the entry form.

A winning entry may be deemed invalid if the winner does not respond within the period specified by TOYO STEEL, if the submitted information is inaccurate, if the winner cannot be contacted, if the information required for prize delivery is not provided, or if the prize cannot otherwise be delivered.

The right to receive a prize may not be transferred, exchanged for cash, or resold.

7. Use of Submitted Content

By entering the Campaign, participants grant TOYO STEEL a royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use submitted photos and videos in the following media and for the following purposes:

TOYO STEEL’s official website and Campaign pages
TOYO STEEL’s official social media channels
Online advertising and social media advertising
Email newsletters
Promotional materials used in stores, exhibitions, and events
Other public relations, advertising, and promotional activities relating to TOYO STEEL products, the TOYO STEEL brand, or the Campaign

When publishing or using submitted content, TOYO STEEL may make edits that do not materially alter the intent of the content, including cropping, resizing, color correction, adding text, adjusting video duration, and other necessary modifications.

Copyright in submitted content remains with the participant or the lawful rights holder. Submission of an entry does not transfer ownership of copyright to TOYO STEEL.

Participants represent and warrant that they hold all rights necessary to submit the content and authorize its use in accordance with this section.

If submitted content includes any third party, third-party copyrighted work, trademark, building, product, or other protected subject matter, the participant is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions before submitting the entry.

When publishing submitted content, TOYO STEEL may also display the participant’s Instagram username or other identifying credit.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Entries involving any of the following may be excluded from judging or the prize draw:

Violation of these Terms and Conditions
Submission of false or misleading information
Submitting an entry while impersonating another person
Infringement of any third party’s copyright, portrait rights, trademark rights, privacy rights, or other rights
Posting or providing another person’s personal information without permission
Content that is offensive to public order or morals, discriminatory, violent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate
Content that violates, or may violate, applicable laws or regulations
Content that defames or disparages TOYO STEEL, any third party, or any related product or service
Conduct that interferes with the administration of the Campaign
Attempts to manipulate entries, judging, or prize draw results through fraudulent or improper means
Violation of Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or other applicable platform rules
Any other conduct that TOYO STEEL determines to be inconsistent with the purpose of the Campaign

9. Withdrawal of an Entry

If the Instagram post associated with an entry is deleted after submission, the entry will be considered withdrawn.

However, if the judging process or prize draw has already been completed at the time the post is deleted, the entry may still be eligible for a prize.

10. Entries from Outside Japan and International Prize Delivery

The Campaign is open to participants outside Japan. However, prizes may not be deliverable to certain countries or regions due to applicable laws, sanctions, carrier service areas, customs restrictions, or other circumstances.

International prizes will generally be shipped under terms where TOYO STEEL covers applicable customs duties and import taxes. However, depending on the laws and customs procedures of the destination country or region, the recipient may be required to complete identity verification, submit documents, or take other actions necessary for customs clearance.

If a prize is returned, abandoned, or disposed of due to refusal of delivery, failure to complete customs procedures, an incorrect or incomplete address, or another circumstance attributable to the recipient, TOYO STEEL will not resend the prize.

11. Handling of Personal Information

Personal information collected through the entry form, including the participant’s name, email address, Instagram username, country or region of residence, and other information, will be used for the following purposes:

Administration of the Campaign and verification of entries
Judging and conducting the prize draw
Contacting selected winners
Prize delivery and related procedures
Responding to inquiries regarding the Campaign
Verification required to prevent fraudulent entries or otherwise administer the Campaign

Except where required or permitted by law, personal information will not be used beyond the purposes stated above without the participant’s consent.

Submission of the Campaign entry form does not automatically subscribe the participant to the TOYO STEEL newsletter. Participants who wish to receive newsletters must register separately through the newsletter subscription form.

12. Instagram Disclaimer

This Campaign is organized and administered by TOYO STEEL CO., LTD. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

By entering the Campaign, participants release Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any responsibility or liability arising in connection with the Campaign.

TOYO STEEL is not responsible for entries that cannot be completed due to Instagram-related issues, including system failures, communication failures, account suspension or deletion, or other circumstances arising from the use of Instagram.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by TOYO STEEL, TOYO STEEL will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by a participant or any third party in connection with participation in the Campaign or use of a prize.

If any dispute arises between a participant and a third party regarding submitted content, the participant is responsible for resolving the dispute at their own expense, and TOYO STEEL will not be liable.

TOYO STEEL may change the Campaign details, prizes, entry period, judging process, prize draw process, or other conditions, or may suspend or terminate the Campaign, without prior notice to participants.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and the Campaign are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any dispute arising between TOYO STEEL and a participant in connection with the Campaign will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Japan having jurisdiction over the location of TOYO STEEL’s principal office as the court of first instance.
